(the Coast of the the Gaels)

The exhibition “Earra Ghaidheal”, contains a wide work on the titled theme meaning 'the Coast of the Gaels' including painting, prints, sculpture, wood, glass and textiles, the artists are all part of an artists group called Artmap.
The group are a collective of artists who exist to promote the work of artists from the Argyle area of Scotland. Artmap Argyll, formed in 2008, has 31 active artist members.

GALLERY NEWS:
We have just obtained a new space on Washington Street, next door to the Pentagon's main entrance.
It is quite a large space and is accessable from the street and we intend to use it to put on floor based, installation, film and sculptural work as well as larger wall based pieces.
We don't know how long this will be available for us to use so artists are asked to submit proposals for this space, although due to it not being in the Pentagon building itself they will be asked to organise the invigilating themselves.
This hopefully will lead to a very exciting and unscripted summer programme.
